There is something that makes dipping stamps into puddles of paint so fun and exciting for children. We made these budget friendly stamps by using our DIY bean bags. These stamps are very easy to make and the paint textures are incredible.
You will need:
Bean bags
Plastic bags, we used some from our recycling bins.
Elastic bands
Tempera paints
Heavy weight paper, we used heavy weight butcher paper.
Procedure:
Wrap bean bags with recycled plastic bags and tie with elastic band.
Please make sure that the plastic is tightly wrapped all over the bean bag. We made handles by twisting masking tape around the top.
Squirt paint on plates.
Invite the children to dip bean bags on paints and stamp away!
Wow!! I just loved this cool and quick technique of creating a stunning Aboriginal Art. I feel it requires minimal investment for teaching unique and creative art to little kids.
